The live music scene creates a vibrant atmosphere, with many enjoying performances while sipping on a carefully selected range of craft beers and wines. The outdoor seating allows patrons to bask in the fresh air, making it a popular choice during warmer months. Some diners note that busy times, especially Fridays and Sundays, often lead to longer wait times for food. Reservations are recommended, particularly on weekends, as drop-in visitors may face challenges during peak hours. A few guests have mentioned that the decor, while charming, could utilize a touch of modernization. Occasionally, noise levels rise during live events, which may detract from quieter dining experiences. Finally, while the pub is family-friendly, the play area for children could benefit from enhancements to make it even more inviting for young patrons.
Wanted to try this friendly looking pub. Turned up without a reservation ( not a good idea ) but they was very pleased to fit us in. Beautiful carvery. Definitely coming again.
I went here last night wow the pizza night was amazing best I've had in UK staff worked so hard food was second to none
Amazing place, so welcoming and beautiful place, highly recommended and looking forward to visiting again this week.
The carvery here is 2nd to none. The quality and taste of food is worth so much more than the £8.45 it costs. We asked for a special favour, to have some gravy to take with us for Christmas Dinner to which they helped us out for no cost! To add ontop, the draught beer here is fantastic, pints are reasonably priced but a really good pint, expecially the Birra Morrretti.
Visited wednesday evening, food was absoloutly devine, the outback steak is amazing, staff were amazing, friendly and very professional, cant wait to return, thankyou
Great food. Great Ale. Music and sports TV. Kids park, pool and darts.
A lovely warm welcome as we arrived. The place was well managed for the current situation and felt comfortable and safe. We were served quickly and I had messaged in advance to see if they could cater for my dietary requirements, as I'm unable to eat gluten or dairy. The manager spoke to me at my table to advise what was suitable for me. Beautiful food, freshly cooked and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Food served Wednesday to Sunday, and I will definitely be back. Also easy access for wheelchairs etc.
